10. QT 14/3/12

But I will never stop loving him
nor fail to keep my promise to him. No, I will not break my covenant;
I will not take back a single word I said. (Psalms 89:33-34)

God's promises never fails, it can be seen by David's life. Although he committed a sin by killing someone to get his wife, God still didn't break His promise. He still loved David, He still protected David from all harm. It is the same for us as well! We may have done many things in our lives that displeases God, but He will still hold on to His promise and continue loving us! :)

Praise the LORD forever!
Amen and amen! (Psalm 89:52)

Despite God "being far away" from the people, the poet still ended the psalm with a praise for God. In Psalms 89, it is almost all about the poet complaining that God was nowhere to be seen, yet he could still praise God in such a situation. I want to be like that too!
