The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made. (Psalm 145:9 NIV)
No matter what we have done that fails God, God never fails on us. God has already made His promise 2000 years back - He will be with us till the end of times. & He did gave us the Holy Spirit who is residing in us. So what could possibly make Him turn His back on us so easily? Yes, God still abhors sin. & when we sin, we are going against God. But God loves each and every one of us so much. So much that He can give His son up just to cleanse us of our sin. God readily forgives us, because we matter to Him and He hopes that we feel the same too. But that of course, doesn't mean that we can sin anyhow we want and expect God to keep forgiving us. We can't keep abusing God's grace.
