And he is able to deal gently with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is subject to the same weaknesses. (Hebrews 5:2 NLT)
All of us are the same, we are all human beings. We sin, we get tempted, we do wrong things, we sometimes disobey God. There's no such things that one is holier than another. Nothing we do can make us more holy or what, that's why we have to embrace one another despite our mistakes. God has called us to be a family in Christ, and in a family there shouldn't be any bearing of grudges. We need to live harmoniously, and to be like that we need to start embracing one another for who they really are.
