68. QT (1/8/12)

But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off. (v.12)

In our current world, so many people are unaware of God. And these people do not know that what they are doing now is against the will of God and against His commandments. Now, why are we Christians placed around them? There has to be a purpose, right? And there is! We are to share with them about God's love for us, we are to share the Good News with them, not just to stand at where we are and judge them. No one on earth has the rights to judge another person, no matter how knowledgable one may see. Knowledge doesn't equate to wisdom. We can still make mistakes when we are knowledgable.

I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim. (Ecclesiastes 8:17 NLT)

God's plan come in His own timing and His own purpose. We may feel that we don't understand why God make us go through certain phases of our lives, but we can trust Him that it is definitely for our own benefit! Doing things without knowing what is going on is a test of faith. We need to trust God even when we don't know what He is up to, even when we don't seem to feel Him.

God I want to thank You for my father. I thank You for his dedication in taking care of the family. But God, I want to see him coming to knowing You as his saviour. I want him to be able to know more about You. Please help me so that I can help to form the bridge for You to walk into his heart. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
