Genesis 4
God didn't accept Cain's offering because what Cain offered was not the first fruits of his own crops. Instead, he gave God whatever he was left to find and this really showed his attitude towards God. For me myself, this part of the chapter spoke to me because it got me thinking if I really am giving God the first fruits of my life or not. Or am I giving to God what is convenient and left of me? Being able to give God our first fruits also means something else, it shows that God is first, and the priority of our lives! Am I doing what I say? Or am I just saying it for show? God, please reveal it to me.
