It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. (Galatians 6:15 NLT)
Having the Holy Spirit in us is what transforms us, not by following a rigid set of rules. Following rules can change us, but it does not naturally transform us. We would still be the same old people we are of we were to do all these by ourselves. But now we have the Holy Spirit living in us, and there are so much more we can do! God will slowly mould us, and start to show us the truths that we can replace in order to be transformed.
