He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel.

Even though God in the old Testament sounds like one who hates His people, it is not true! God loves us so much, that even when we fall away from Him, He still stands there waiting for us to go back to Him. His love is so dependable, it will never fail. Just as we should base our love on God for who He is, He does the same! No matter what we are going through or have done, the fact that we are all His children will never change. And this is the exact reason why He still loves us so much. We should never doubt God's love for us, because God is God and He will never break His promise.
