Revenge is the Lord's job, not ours. When people misunderstand or accuse us, let them be. We shouldn't even try to defend ourselves lest we lose their souls when we win the argument. God's main purposes for us are to worship, fellowship, serve, disciple and to evangelise. But if we only care about winning arguments against one another, how could this happen? What we need most is a humble heart, and one that seeks after God and nothing else. That means even when people accuse us, we maintain our emotions and feelings, and still show love to that person. This is what we need to focus on, not how we can win the argument and get the person to say sorry to us.
