75. QT (8/8/12)

So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Jeshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.” (Zechariah 3:4 NLT)

From the moment we invited Jesus into our lives, our sins have already been swept away, no longer taken into account. Just like Jeshua, God has given us new clothes - a second chance. The question now is, what are we gonna do with our second chance? Relive how we were in the past, or desiring to be more and more like Jesus each day? If we choose to continue living the life we had, aren't we taking God's grace and our salvation for granted? I definitely don't want that to happen! I want to be more and more like Christ each day, even though it would be tough and out of the world. But still, all these should not obstruct me from doing what is right - becoming Christlike. For I am not like Christ, what meaning would my life have? Will I still be able to fulfil my purposes?
